About the Author

John Doolittle writes from lived experience—where decisions carry weight and responsibility is never abstract. A retired U.S. Air Force Reserve colonel and former senior executive, he spent over 30 years with the National Ski Patrol, earning the Distinguished Service Award and a National Appointment for his work in high-risk rescue environments.
He holds degrees in economics and finance and is also the author of Khoda Hafez…Goodbye Iran, a firsthand account of his family living through the Iranian Revolution. Based in Northern California, John brings rare authenticity to his storytelling, capturing not just survival, but the quiet courage it takes to step forward when others cannot.
